Summary:  Primary contract negotiation support for Sales, Commercial Operations, and Procurement functions across all of Global Power’ s businesses.    Review customer and major vendor contract terms and conditions and participate in contract negotiations on behalf of all Global Power operating units.  Become expert on Company’ s contract risk review and approval process and assist business unit contract negotiations within those guidelines.  May assist in template and policy and procedure development as well as other tasks assigned from time to time.  Report to the Deputy General Counsel.   

Essential Functions:
  • Prepare, review, negotiate and document contracts and other business transactions, including, customer contracts, NDAs, manufacturing agreements, vendor contracts, and leases.
  • Conduct terms and conditions review of customer contracts for    Company risk process compliance.
  • Ability to support multiple business units and functions in simultaneous reviews.
  • Experience negotiating with customer sales, contract, and legal support.
  • Enhance current corporate templates and policy and procedure documents to identify potential compliance risks, develop policies to address identified risks.
  • Ability to travel, on occasion.

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time.

  • Ability to converse over a telephone.
  • Ability to work in office and perform in corporate environment.

Education: B.A. or equivalent, J.D. beneficial but not required.    Equivalent experience considered at discretion of management;

Experience:  Experience in complex contract and subcontract negotiation, execution, dispute resolution and contracts/subcontracts management in a Manufacturing, Engineering, Procurement & Construction (EPC), and/or Nuclear environment required; 10+ years experience preferred.
